Created innovative, complex and sophisticated Internet client and server utility infrastructures with linkages to back end legacy architectures for multiple systems on an enterprise wide and global basis.

Created an Internet based directory structure for a western regional bell operating company (RBOC) - multiple states and data centers. Provided an assessment of current Internet architectures and included strategic and tactical recommendations on integrated financial systems with internal mission critical workflow and commercial electronic commerce systems. Recommended and managed the development of a call center operation that was an internet based process and control system for electronic commerce, fulfillment and associated services.

Peterson Consulting - Now Synergistic Ecosystems, LLC
President

Mission included complete Internet, Intranet and Extranet World Wide Web implementations. Designed a Managed Care System called Solution 2000 for targeted customers. Solution 2000 includes Case Management, Encounter and Episode Management, Benefit and Risk Management, Financial Integration, Medical Protocol Analysis and Life Quality and Outcome Analysis.

Created four trade marked systems and the Internal Auditing World Wide Web (IAWWW) www.bitwise.net/iawww and nine other Internet, Extranet and Intranet sites on "Internet One" including the original www.misti.com, www.callacg.com, www.allmerica.com and other secured Extranet sites for over 26 companies.

The IAWWW was created in conjunction with The National Science Foundation, National Center for Super computing Applications, Dartmouth and The Clinton Gore Administration initiative for the Internet and has a worldwide audience of over 500,000 senior management personnel. It was one of the first business applications that utilized World Wide Web and HTML Technologies.

Allmerica Financial Corporation

Responsible for the introduction, marketing and expansion of Allmerica Financial Companies' Electronic Commerce initiatives. Initial responsibilities included various technical and business infrastructures. The work expanded to include Banking Relations and Work-site Marketing with implementations utilizing electronic commerce processes that rely heavily on Internet Based Technologies. Delivered systems that currently provide functional capabilities to Banking, Credit and other Financial Institutions for retail and wholesale customers utilizing multiple business product networks. Business and systems are from the bank customer, via the wholesalers (brokers) to the manufacturers (insurers) and suppliers of financial services and products.

Designed, developed and installed the first Banking/Insurance Extranet. Internet efforts were featured in Communications Week, Information Week, Computer World and The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA). Was a member of the Web Masters Guild

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center
Consultant-Business Operations

Provided integrated management consulting, which included advanced and automated TQM/CQI, Business Reinvention and Business Process Reengineering, Technological Re-engineering and Workflow Analysis for Medical Center Operational and Financial Units. This work encompasses multiple nursing units and hospital departments. Initiated pro-active programs and projects in Birthing Pavilion, Pharmacy, Psychology, Same Day Surgery and Medical and CHAD (Children's Hospital at Dartmouth). Delivered multiple presentations to National Conferences on the application of Internet Technologies. Articles have been published in the Internal Auditor Professional Journal on the use of the Internet

Created international business plans, including technical and business designs for Employee Benefits, Flexible Compensation and Managed Care. Created international marketing and sales Business Application Integration Sets for Pension, Agency Management, Investments, Actuarial, Underwriting, Customer Service and Financial Services Common Human Interface. Engaged in independent principal consulting to executive management for the top 2000 Mutual and Stock Companies within and outside the United States. Conducted knowledge transfer seminars for financial service executives.

Responsible for the Advanced Technology Group that was charged with discovering and evaluated new technologies for competitive business advantage. Member of the Strategic Planning Group and Venture Capital Group. Architect and Implementation Officer: INSIGHT (tm). Sold to Fortune 2000 Companies and provided benefit Management System for Healthcare Management.

Project Manager and Architect: CARMA (tm). Sold to Fortune 2000 Companies. Created the largest Focus System in the world at time of introduction for Property Casualty Risk Management. Project Manager: Banking and Insurance System (tm). Sold to Administrative Service Only Contracts (ASO) - Fortune 2000 Companies. Cross-Functional System Project Manager: SIMS (tm) - Securities Information Management System (tm) that supported 1600 financial and investment business functions and included all investment operations of an insurance and investment company.

New York Life Insurance Company
Executive Marketing Program Leader

Leader for the Field Access Communications Terminal System (F.A.C.T.S) (tm), SEC Leader for Variable Contracts Corporation, Sales and Marketing, Data Administration, Contracts, Licenses and Staffing. Responsible for 370 field offices and 15,000 agents. Created the first automated underwritten policy with "field office policy issue generation" in a distributed mode.
